Kiwa Oesterbaai opened a new office in Belgrade, Serbia. To expand in the Balkan region, Kiwa Oesterbaai is aiming to have a fully equipped operational office, laboratory and training centre in Belgrade commencing in 2019.
In the head office of the Dutch Embassy, also headquarters of Nederlands-Servisch Handelsvereniging, Kiwa Oesterbaai’s ir. Joris Gribnau with non-executive board member Dr. M. Brouns and local representative Mr. Stojiljkovic met with Mr. H. van den Dool, Ambassador of the Netherlands to Serbia and Deputy Head of Mission Mrs. M. van Miltenburg to formalize the opening of the Serbian Kiwa Oesterbaai Balkan office.
Inventory of asbestos and hazardous materials are Kiwa Oesterbaai Balkan’s core-business. Kiwa Oesterbaai Balkan provides courses and training on all of the asbestos and HazMats related activities. Furthermore Kiwa Oesterbaai opens its own laboratory for the analysis of asbestos materials, dust and air.
With the centre of operations located in Belgrade, Kiwa Oesterbaai Balkan foresees a regional role in the Balkan, to help implement and further develop asbestos and environmental solutions. Kiwa Oesterbaai is dedicated to support the Serbian industry and government with environmental issues, which helps the negotiations for admission of Serbia to the EU.
