Project challenges
Kiwa Oesterbaai is well acquainted with the services of KOTUG. In recent years, we conducted projects in the field of asbestos surveys, consultancy and project management for remediation.
One of these projects was especially challenging due to the special period around Christmas and New Year. During the Christmas holidays KOTUG asked Kiwa Oesterbaai to perform an asbestos survey on a tugboat, which should be available for a charter as soon as possible. Thanks to fast response and tight planning Kiwa Oesterbaai succeeded to support KOTUG successfully. And with positive results. No asbestos was found on board and the asbestos safety statement could be issued quickly. In record time, the tugboat was ready again for charters.
KOTUG satisfied with cooperation
The KOTUG team is very enthusiastic about the collaboration with Kiwa Oesterbaai: ‘In the busy period around Christmas and New Year, we needed support several times. Kiwa Oesterbaai was able to deliver the survey results and the full report in English within a very short timeframe. Despite the Christmas period they managed to meet our wishes every time. Even when we asked at 21.00 hrs to get a researcher available in Germany the next day. We are satisfied with the service and we are a more than satisfied client.’
